Persist transformation
Overview
The Persist transformation wizard creates persisting output for a transformation.
Function
Choose the transformation, persisted table, persisting package, and table-switching strategy, then finish the wizard to create the persisting definition.
Access
Open the wizard from the listed navigation, toolbar, or diagram context.
How to access
Navigation tree
Packages -> Persisting -> Add persisting package.
Toolbar
ETL -> Packages, open a persisting package, then add persisting content.
Diagram
Transformation object -> Add -> Persisting.

| 4 | No partition switching | Creates persisting without partition switching. |
| 5 | Partition switching | Uses partition switching for persisting where supported. |
| 6 | Renaming | Uses renaming strategy for persisting where supported. |
| 7 | Finish | Completes the wizard and creates or updates the selected object. |
| 8 | Cancel | Leaves the page without continuing the current edit. |
