OLAP roles

Overview

OLAP roles is the searchable list page for Analysis Services security roles. Use it to find roles by name or description, review the role list, open an existing role for editing, create a new role, duplicate a role, or delete an obsolete role.

Function

The page combines a search filter with a read-only result grid. The search field narrows the list by role name or description, and the clear-filter button reloads the full role list.

Double-click a role row to open the OLAP role page. Use New to create a role, Duplicate to create a copy of the selected role, or Delete to remove the selected role after confirmation.

Access

Open the list from the Roles node in the navigation tree or from the Roles command in the Data mart toolbar.

How to access

Roles -> List roles. From an existing role, use Edit role.
