Object scripts

Overview

Object Scripts is the searchable list page for object script definitions. Use it to find scripts, review their object scope, create a new script, delete an obsolete script, or open an existing script for editing.

Function

The page combines a search filter with a read-only result grid. The search field narrows the list by script name or description, and the clear-filter button reloads the visible script list.

When the page is opened from an object or table context, the list is limited to scripts for that context. Double-click a script row to open the Object script page. Use New to create a script, or Delete to remove the selected script after confirmation.

Access

Open the list from the Object scripts node in the navigation tree. Supported object contexts can also open the same list already filtered to scripts for that object.

Screen overview

ID	Property	Description
1	Search criteria	Filter area at the top of the page.
2	Search field	Text field used to filter object scripts by name or description.
3	Search	Runs the filter and refreshes the Object Scripts grid.
4	Clear filter	Clears the search field and reloads the visible script list.
5	Object	Shows the object or table scope for the script. Blank scope indicates a script that is not tied to a specific object.
6	Name	Grid column for the object script name.
7	Description	Grid column for the object script description or purpose.
8	Object Scripts grid	Read-only result list for reviewing script records. Double-click a row to open it on the Object script page.
9	Delete	Deletes the selected object script after user confirmation, then refreshes the page.
10	New	Opens the Object script page to create a new script.
