Schemas
Overview
The Schemas list maintains schema definitions and their layer assignment.
Function
Use the list to maintain schema name, schema type, layer, and description.
Save stores schema edits and Cancel leaves the list without continuing the edit session.
Access
Open schemas from the DWH toolbar tab or from a schema branch in the navigation tree.
How to access
Navigation tree
Layers -> [layer] -> [schema] -> Edit schema.
Toolbar
DWH -> Schemas.

| 1 | Search criteria | Area used to filter schema rows. |
| 2 | Search | Applies the current search criteria. |
| 3 | Name | Business name shown in lists and navigation. |
| 4 | SchemaType | Schema category assigned to the row. |
| 5 | Layer | Maintains the Layer setting on the screen. |
| 6 | Description | Business description or notes for the object. |
| 7 | Save | Saves the current definition, refreshes the relevant navigation or list, and keeps the page consistent with the saved state. |
| 8 | Cancel | Leaves the page without continuing the current edit. |
