Datamart stars
Overview
Datamart stars is the searchable list page for star-schema groupings used in data mart modeling. Use it to find existing stars, open a star for editing, or start a new star.
Function
The page combines a search filter with a read-only star grid. The search field narrows the list by star details such as name, description, schema, galaxy, or diagram order.
Double-click a star row to open it for editing. Use New to create a star, or Delete to remove the selected star after confirmation.
Access
Open the star list from the Data mart toolbar or from the Stars node in the navigation tree.

| 6 | Galaxy | Grid column that shows the galaxy associated with the star. |
| 7 | Schema | Grid column that shows the schema associated with the star. |
| 8 | Order in diagram | Grid column that displays the star order in the diagram. |
| 9 | Description | Grid column that describes the star. |
| 10 | Star grid | Read-only result list. Double-click a row to open the selected star for editing. |
| 11 | Delete | Removes the selected star after the user confirms the action. |
| 12 | New | Opens the star editor for a new star. |
