Export

Overview

Export, shown as the EP icon on the dataflow diagram, represents an export flow from an AnalyticsCreator table to a target source or external destination. Use it to see which table provides the data, where the data is exported, and which package controls the export process.

Function

An export flow connects a source table in AnalyticsCreator with the target source or destination that receives the exported data. On the dataflow diagram, the EP icon makes the export package or export relationship visible beside the related table and target object.

Export is used when data prepared in AnalyticsCreator must be sent to another system, file location, database, or downstream target through a controlled package.

[EP] icon

The EP icon marks the export package or export relationship on the dataflow diagram. It helps users identify where data leaves the warehouse flow and which package is responsible for maintaining the export output.

Access

Exports can be reviewed from the dataflow diagram through the EP icon, export marker, source table, target source, and directional flow. Existing export definitions can also be maintained from the package navigation tree or export-related list views.
