Overview

The Unlock Group function in AnalyticsCreator removes editing restrictions from a previously locked metadata group. Once unlocked, all objects within the group can be edited, deleted, or extended as needed. This action is typically performed after a deployment phase or once modifications are approved for further development.

When and Why to Use This Feature

• To resume development after a production deployment
• When updates to validated metadata objects are approved
• To apply schema or logic changes to previously locked groups
• During collaborative modeling when access restrictions need to be lifted

How to Use the Unlock Group Function

1. Open the Navigation Tree in your project workspace
2. Expand the Groups section to locate the locked metadata group
3. Right-click on the group that needs to be unlocked
4. Select Unlock from the context menu
5. Confirm that the lock icon is removed, indicating the group is now editable
