Synchronize Properties

The Synchronize Properties panel controls how AnalyticsCreator updates and maintains your data warehouse model.

From this interface, you can define the scope of metadata synchronization, choose which objects to refresh, and perform targeted updates such as recalculating diagrams or renewing relationships.

It’s an essential feature for ensuring consistency, minimizing runtime impact, and maintaining governance across evolving models and metadata.

Description of Interface Elements

ID Synchronize Property Description
1 Full synchronize The complete DWH model will be recreated
2 Synchronize selected groups only Only the objects related to the selected object group will be recreated. Other objects remain unchanged.
3 Synchronize new objects only Only new objects will be created. Other objects remain unchanged.
4 Full refresh Diagram will be recalculated.
5 Refresh selected group only Diagram will be recalculated only for the objects related to the selected object group.
6 Refresh new objects only Diagram will be recalculated only for the new objects.
7 No refresh Diagram will not be recalculated.
8 Repair repository Some repair and cleansing tasks will be performed on the repository.
9 Update relations Inherited table relations will be renewed.
10 Update missing OLAP references OLAP references will be automatically renewed.
11 Update friendly names Inherited table and column friendly names will be renewed.
12 Update descriptions Inherited table and column descriptions will be renewed.
13 Update anonymizations Inherited anonymization information will be renewed.
14 Update column dependencies Column dependencies will be recalculated.
15 Update object groups The membership of the inherited objects to the object groups will be recalculated.
