Export Metadata Objects
AnalyticsCreator allows you to export metadata objects either to a local file or to a cloud repository. This enables versioning, backup, sharing across environments, or reuse across multiple projects.

|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Export Connector to File | Exports the connector definition and all linked configuration to a local file for backup or reuse. | Navigation Tree → Connectors → Right-click → Export to File |
| 2 | Export Connector to Cloud | Publishes the connector metadata to the cloud for use in other projects or shared repositories. | Navigation Tree → Connectors → Right-click → Export to Cloud |
| 3 | Export Macro to File | Exports one or more macros to a local file. Useful for sharing transformation logic or storing versioned backups. | Navigation Tree → Macros → Right-click → Export to File |
| 4 | Export Macro to Cloud | Publishes macros to a shared cloud location for use in other projects or collaboration. | Navigation Tree → Macros → Right-click → Export to Cloud |
| 5 | Export Model to File | Exports the complete semantic model definition (facts, dimensions, measures) to a local file. | Navigation Tree → Models → Right-click → Export to File |
| 6 | Export Model to Cloud | Publishes the model to the cloud so it can be used in other repositories or team environments. | Navigation Tree → Models → Right-click → Export to Cloud |
Exported files can be imported into the same or different AnalyticsCreator projects. Cloud exports enable team-based collaboration and reuse of standardized components.
