Overview

The Delete Filter function in AnalyticsCreator permanently removes a saved diagram filter from the metadata repository. Once deleted, the filter cannot be restored. This feature is useful for cleaning up outdated or unused filter configurations, helping teams maintain a clean and relevant filter library for ongoing development.

When and Why to Use This Feature

  • To remove filters that are no longer relevant to current modeling activities
  • When cleaning up filters created during testing or prototyping
  • To reduce clutter in the Filter Manager and improve usability
  • To enforce governance by maintaining only approved filter definitions

How to Use the Delete Filter Function

  1. Open the Diagram View in your project
  2. Go to the Diagram Toolbar
  3. Open the Filter Panel
  4. Select Manage Filters from the available options
  5. Locate the filter you want to delete
  6. Click on Delete to permanently remove the filter
