Overview

The Import Connector from Cloud feature in AnalyticsCreator allows you to connect to a centrally maintained cloud repository and import shared source system metadata directly into your project. This includes table definitions, column structures, and technical metadata that were previously published by another user, team, or project.

It supports metadata reusability and promotes standardization across multiple AnalyticsCreator environments. This is especially valuable in enterprise setups where multiple projects rely on the same source system structures and wish to enforce consistency without recreating connectors manually.

When and Why to Use This Feature

• When you want to reuse an existing connector defined by another project or user
• To accelerate project setup by importing pre-approved metadata

How to Use Import Connector from Cloud

1. In the main toolbar, go to Specific Operations.
2. Select Import Connector from Cloud.
3. A list of available published connectors will be displayed from the cloud repository.
