Overview

The Apply Filter function in AnalyticsCreator activates a previously saved diagram filter, instantly updating the current diagram view based on the stored configuration. This includes settings such as visible layers, object types, schemas, or groups, allowing for focused development and review workflows without the need to manually reapply filters.

When and Why to Use This Feature

  • To quickly switch between domain-specific or role-based diagram views
  • When collaborating across teams with different modeling scopes
  • To maintain productivity in large or complex metadata models

How to Use the Apply Filter Function

  1. Open the Diagram View of your project
  2. Go to the Diagram Toolbar
  3. Open the Filter Panel
  4. Select a saved filter from the list
  5. Click on Apply Filter to update the diagram view
  6. Review the filtered diagram focused on the relevant modeling scope
