Overview

The Refresh DWH Wizard feature in AnalyticsCreator updates the warehouse schema and metadata model based on any changes made to source references, layers, and transformation logic. It analyzes metadata and regenerates the DWH structure—including tables, relationships, and transformations—to keep the dimensional warehouse aligned with your latest modeling definitions.

When and Why to Use This Feature

  • After changing source references or mappings
  • When adding or modifying surrogate or business keys
  • When relationship logic between tables is updated
  • To ensure the physical DWH structure matches the current metadata model

How to Use the Refresh DWH Wizard

  1. Go to the Toolbar in the main application window
  2. Select the Tools Menu
  3. Click on Refresh DWH Wizard
  4. Review and confirm changes detected in the metadata model
  5. Execute the wizard to regenerate DWH objects accordingly
