Importing Tables and Building the Staging Layer

Import Tables

• Choose your connector (e.g., SAP).
• Right-click to import tables (e.g., BKPF, BSEG).
• Assign a package name (logical grouping of imported objects).

Historization

• Tables can be historized to keep track of changes over time.
• Use snapshot or actual historization types:
  • Snapshot: Keeps historical versions.
  • Actual: Keeps only the current version.

Each historization table is stored in its own schema and can be reused in transformations.
